Another Gang of Boys Rapes Teenager, Films Scene and Sends Footage to School Friends

heartaward1.jpgbasv2007.jpg

It’s happened again.

A teenager was brutally raped by a gang of boys who filmed the scene on their mobile phones, then sent the footage to school friends, police said yesterday.

Five boys have been charged with aggravated sexual assault of the 17-year-old girl, and distributing a video of the attack.

The homes of the teenagers, aged 17 and 18, were raided by police yesterday and all have been remanded in custody.

Three boys appeared in court and were refused bail. They will reappear on May 31.

The other two face court today.

The police painted a chilling picture of the assault, alleging the victim was fed alcohol until she was blind drunk and then assaulted and mocked by her attackers.

Police allege the girl received a phone call inviting her to a friend’s house in south-west Sydney on January 9.

She arrived at the home in a car at about 11pm with three boys and joined four more boys inside, police say. The group played cards and drank alcohol.

After four quick drinks, she became intoxicated and does not remember the events that followed.

Police say she was taken to a bedroom, where her skirt was hitched up and her underpants removed. One boy then allegedly had sex with her as another filmed the scene. A third boy performed a sex act on her face.

Those who have seen the video said the girl appeared to be heavily intoxicated or drugged as she fought to push the boys off.

While she was being assaulted, other boys could be heard giving encouragement and laughing in the background, police said.

One of the boys appeared to break wind onto the victim, saying “get that into ya”.

The victim is heard screaming when she is slapped on the lower part of her body.

“The video footage of this attack can only be described as harrowing,” said Detective Superintendent Mick Plotecki, the Liverpool Local Area commander.

“As a police officer I am appalled by a sexual attack of this nature and as a father I am horrified,” he said.

Police said the girl was then driven home and dumped outside her house, where her mother found her, incoherent and without her underpants. When she awoke, she said she could not remember the previous night’s events.

Police said that four days after the incident, the boy who allegedly filmed the assault asked the victim to go to a friend’s house and she agreed. At that house the boy took out his phone and showed her the video. She became upset and left.

Police said the girl did not report the incident until last week as she was afraid of the boys.

Police said that in February the video was forwarded to a number of students at the victim’s former private school. School authorities found out and reported it to police at the same time as the girl came forward last week.

Police warned that watching or forwarding the video was an offence and could attract a jail term. They are combing phone records to find those who have forwarded the footage.

In angry scenes outside court yesterday, the grandfather of one of the accused said filming the alleged incident was wrong.

“Stupid, yeah, but they do it, [film] everything, they bash people, they’re used to stupid things. Was she drunk? Prove it,” the man told Channel Seven.

Tell me with a straight face, somebody, that this had nothing to do with pornography and its affect on these boys, and at least one of their grandfathers.

How does a woman even begin to talk about the fact that these boys showed the video to this girl?  Apparently believed they had done nothing wrong, let alone criminal, let alone rape.    Apparently believed the girl wouldn’t tell authorities.  How do we even talk about the fact that to all of these boys, this girl was not even human?

  1. The amount of cruel, remorseless behavior involved in this rash of filmed gang rapes at such an early age doesn’t give me much hope for the next 50 years or so that these boys may be alive. Think of all the women they’ll be able to abuse and torture during that time!

The grandfather is appalling. Oh yeah, this is just a ‘stupid’ thing. Boys will be boys, you know, going arounding “bash”ing people, drugging and raping women. Those crazy boys! Despicable imbecile.

  2. My first thoughts are this is the ole addage “boys will be boys”. People don’t teach their boys how to respect women anymore and when they do something like this the families take up for them (“Not MY little Johnny! He is an Angel!”).

It sickens me that the grandfather is taking up for the kid and not beating his ass. He doesn’t seem to get that it doesn’t matter if the girl was drunk or not…it matters that she obviously in the clip didn’t want the attention and they did those things to her anyway…but then again this is how his generation was raised and how many others are being raised today…that you can do what you want to a girl/woman and all you have to do is say she asked for it.

All I know is that if MY son was found doing something like this…he would be knocked into next year and not even remember it.

  3. The “DIY porn generation” does it again. The arrogance of these boys astounds me. This was a deliberate and planned sexual attack on ONE girl by a GROUP of boys, just as Werribee was.

The fact that they drove her home and dumped her in front of her house proves that these boys view females as disposable objects, to be discarded once used.

More chilling was that grandfather, who saw absolutely nothing wrong with his grandson raping a girl of 17, only that ‘the grandson was stupid enough to film it [and get caught]’. I think it is easy to see why boys are absorbing these attitudes towards women, it’s been going on for a long time.

  4. I think you hit the nail on the head with this line “How do we even talk about the fact that to all of these boys, this girl was not even human?”.

This is exactly the discussion this country needs to start having!

  5. Why wouldn’t they film it? You can film rape these days and get off in jury. It’s happened. All you have to do is pick the right (or wrong in society’s POV) girl and get her drunk.

Watch in their trial where they will say she was drunk and ‘wanted it’ that she went off with one of the boys 3 days later, so she couldn’t have been that upset, etc… That these were nice upstanding boys who were seduced by the woman.

It won’t surprise me if they get off.

Of course the girl isn’t human to them. Women aren’t human to lots of people.

  8. The article states that the “boys” were 17 and 18. One is considered adult when one turns 18. Not a boy. A man.

I wouldn’t leave it up to chance to begin with. Especially with the odds being so dismal. So I’ll opt for not unleashing a son onto women and their daughters in the first place.

Thank you for saying this. Women take very personally the suggestion that the mother capable of fully preventing her son from becoming a rapist does not exist, especially in this rape culture of ours. If your baby’s born with a dick, the inescapable fact of the matter is that he may end up putting it to ill use. Talk to me about raising sexually benevolent sons when penectomies become standard of care for male neonates.

  11. Public Service Announcement

Although I completely understand (and also feel) the rage, the aggravation, the desire for justice, the frustration of having to sit helplessly by and read of incidents like this one when one would like to lay hands on the sadists and perps and rapists, I am opposed to all violence — ALL — including any human being whatsoever striking, laying hands on, or physically harming any other sentient being — animal or human — for any reason at all besides self-defense (and even there, I would not, personally, in all likelihood defend myself; I’ve been attacked many times and defending myself physically is just not in me.) I am completely and unalterably and forever opposed to the striking or beating of children, for any reason, and again, to all violence, including capital punishment, including war, including hunting, fishing, etc.

I completely respect other arguments, other positions, and feel them, even; I’m just stating, for the record, my own position so people don’t write blog posts which say, “AND LOOK AT HEART, PEOPLE WERE SAYING ___________ AND SHE SAYS SHE’S NONVIOLENT BUT SHE DIDN’T SAY ANYTHING.”

Which is bullshit anyway. The time has come on my blog where it’s hard for me to keep up with all the comments, much less carefully respond because I have the idea if I don’t, it’s going to become blog fodder to be used against me, as though I could ever keep that from happening no matter what I do!

But I’m saying this anyhow, in that being against violence is a core, very central belief for me, something I have believed and practiced all of my life, since I was a tiny girl, and which has stayed the same through all of my reinventions of myself.

End of public service announcement. :P

Girl plied with alcohol until she’s relatively helpless *check*

Drunk girl, with an impaired ability to fight these boys’ off (which she is shown attempting to do in the video) is raped *check*

Boys film the entire crime *check*

Boys show the entire world, including an exclusive viewing with the girl herself, the entire crime *check*

Rape apologist asshole barges onto feminist website *check*
Blames the rape of a 17-year-old girl on the victim *check*
Refers to the victim as a slut *check*
Says nothing so harsh about the men who videotaped themselves raping and otherwise violating the admittedly underaged victim *check*
Refers to her rape as a “good time” *check*

So, the rape apologist asshole is either a loser who merely glorifies rape he himself would never risk the jail time to commit, or he’s a rape apologist asshole who is also a rapist himself.

One would think an asshole like that would learn from the experience but instead he goes around with a misguided indignation, a duty if you will to expose all those women who dared to remind him of his crime. Loser cannot be said loud enough.

Add one more to the check list Gingermiss,

You’ll get no argument from me on that one. I went on a date once with a guy who saw fit to tell me about his “friiiieeeeeennnnnnddd” who’d been falsely accused of rape, and how terrible that was, that a woman would do that to him. When I grabbed for the bill, so as to pay my share, rather than have an obvious rap(e apolog)ist purchase anything on my behalf, he praised me for not being a gold-digging whore like the rest of my sex. No, not in those words, of course; he was far too “nice” for that. It just so happened, he whined, that he and the “friiiieeeennnnddd” were about this very same thing, you know, how women never offer to pay their own way, as if men don’t work just as hard for their money as men do.

    I don’t date anymore.

We honestly need to start thinking and strategizing about this in terms of war. How is it that our side cannot see that we are at war? What can we do to appraise them of the dire situation, make them see that it is dire enough to die willingly for?

I don’t know. I don’t see what men do to women and girls as terrorism, although the media does it’s best to make it seem covert and sporadic, like guerilla warfare. I see it, instead, as a full-on offensive, a bona-fide war, declared with the complete support and approval of all men. If anything, what with the open-eyed among us being so few and far between, we’ll need female terrorism to fight back. We’ll need it until we have enough women alive who haven’t been raised to cower and flinch in the face of the assault, like I was.

  34. Nothing short of evil. Dead consciences. Justice must be done. Some may say, “They are boys and we can’t throw their lives away by punishing them too harshly.” I say they threw their own lives away when they committed this wickedness. Further, those who received the videos, watched them, didn’t report it to authorities, and forwarded it to others deserve some justice as well.

  35. All I can say to this is if they were black… Prolepticlife you raise an interesting point “They are boys and we can’t throw their lives away by punnishing them too harshly.” But had they been black boys their lives being thrown away by harsh punishment wouldnt have been a factor. Too often does our “justice” system offer a set of rules for one and a set for another… ALL OF THE TIME they are to the benefit of men, but MOST OF THE TIME to the benefit of white men.

And of course she is just some dumb girl who allowed herself to get drunk. It makes no matter that in the video she is trying to fight them off… doesnt matter that they completely humiliated her, they treated less than human… they FUCKED HER like a porn star, where is the harm… she deserved it. She went there, she drank, her fault not theirs… GIVE ME A BREAK…. HOLD THOSE LITTLE BASTARDS RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR ACTIONS!!!!! ALL OF THEM REGARDLESS OF RACE OR CREED!

prolepticlife I completely agree with what you have said… I hope they all go to jail for the rest of their lives… I feel it only fair that they experience the same sort of humiliation and RAPE they inflicted on their victim…. this society teaches young girls that it is their fault. Dont wear skirts and show off your legs cause men will want you and you will provoke them, dont drink too much because it gives men license to use and abuse your body, dont go out alone because men can attack you DONT DONT DONT DONT BUT THERE IS NEVER ANY DONT FOR THE ASSHOLES WHO COMMIT THE CRIMES. They are the innocents, the victim is a slut a whore a dumb girl who deserved what she got… Why is it that this is not understood as wrong by others, I cannot conceive.

HEHEHE… My sisters and I, there are 4 of us me as the oldest, have been trying to get something like this going. We have decided that we will use some of the same disgusting tactics that men use on us. The suggestion was using a camera, and I said if we ever tried to make this happen we would DEFINITELY need to be careful and need some sort of security. But we decided it was just a way to blow off steam. When making an attempt to show interest we have decided that the gross and disgusting, demeaning equivalent would be

    1. grabbing at their balls, since our breasts are the object of their infatuation
    2. slapping them on the ass and sayin, nice one! ;)
    3. making lewd gestures at them and and using speech they find offensive
    4. reducing them to inches and width (lmao my jazzy came up with that)
    5. multiple and varied attempts at emasculation.
    6. there was even something for the chocolate fantasy types… you know married white male who fantacizes about black pu$$%, cause its SOOO different. (this is an absolutely DISGUSTING thing to encounter and I wouldnt wish it on my worst enemy.)

many others too many to remember off the top. Of course this will be dangerous, but we were at our girl scout meeting and talking about the disgusting things we encounter in a DAY from so called men. This was our brainstorm list… It started out as a sanity restoration session… lol just something to think about to shift off being made to feel less than shit JUST because we were born women.

  37. Prolepticlife, under Australian Law they can (and possibly are) following up on those that have possession of the video, as “child pornography” as the girl was under 18, just as for the very similar, Werribee case.

Justicewalks, I am constantly thinking ‘strategy’. One problem is that everything is so interconnected, it is hard to dismantle part by part, but the whole is such a big job to tackle all at once. Personally just chipping away at the parts at the moment.

About violence, I’d have no problem whipping the crap out of any boy who’d even consider doing what those boys did to be okay. And I’d not hesitate to use a firearm and blow the balls off of a man, such as Lil’ Pervy’s grandpa, for so much as condoning Lil’ Pervy’s behavior.

  39. Hi Heart, just passing through via Twisty’s. I was thinking this: I’m not a pacifist, and although I don’t advocate and eye for an eye, I’m aware of how badly the “justice” system works. I do see a difference between someone committing sexual violence on a woman or person who has not done anything to them (and by “anything” I mean anything physical), and the urge that people have to even the score after the violence occurs. Violence isn’t the answer, but since justice doesn’t usually work in this patriarchal society, if I ever came across a group of little buggers like those rapists, I’d kick them so hard in the nuts they would never be able to rape again. If one of them happened to be my son, he would be disowned and sent to reform school, if not jail. I’d have to take a long, hard look at my own life to see if I had any hand in things. But it’s true: you can try to raise your sons to be good men, but then other men and the culture of men get ahold of them.

In the interests of a solution, I’m all about PREVENTION. Our society spends billions on war and on jails, but almost nothing on preventative measures such as education for both males and females on rape. Sadly, justice is leaning far in favour of men, and that’s why I’m all for women being able to defend themselves on an individual basis. It’s a war out there, men against women, and I won’t be caught unawares or unarmed.

They could then be crossed off the list. *check*

They don’t mind when it’s done to abortion providers. Surely rap(e apolog)ists are a group more deserving of such terrorism. And, yeah, it is only one face of the hydra that is patriarchy, but that’s something I’d be willing to live with.

  42. Yeah, Mearl, Cool Aunt, Justice Walks, you sure don’t have to explain to me why violence in self defense makes sense and is appealing in instances like this! The criminal justice system sucks in the U.S. when it comes to crimes like this, and it probably sucks everywhere else, too, and at the moment, as several have said, there is a femicide, a war on women going on.

Prevention is definitely the answer but I don’t see that happening unless we can shield children from being bombarded with all of the sexist, toxic messages which bombard them all of the time. This is why Sonia Johnson, who raised four kids, ultimately said she felt it was immoral to have children unless you can find a way to raise them that is truly revolutionary.

  45. I think people are too content with the status quo to start taking to the streets. As long as it’s only (what is perceived as) a few women and girls who are harmed, no one will care. Certainly as long as men aren’t being punished, no one will care.

I think vigilantism might be the only way to get people to wake up to the reality of this war. Once rapists and their enablers were being sniped in their homes, castrated, or what have you, you might just have the conditions needed to get women out into the streets. Women certainly wouldn’t have to worry about men retaliating against them if the march were associated, however loosely, with viglante ball-whackers.

  46. “The grandfather is almost as sexist as the guys!”
Lose the “almost”; the grandfather is as sexist at the perps, it was only that the little brats are more techno-savvy. It is easy to see from where the sexist attitudes stem in that family, when the grandfather does not regard rape as the crime — but getting caught was their only mistake.

  47. What I think is, women (and supportive man) have to take to the streets. In HUGE numbers. bold added

This made me laugh out loud. One singular supportive man, so elusive he’s never been seen, almost superhero-like in his rarity and ability to buck the status quo. It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s… Supportive Man!

  48. “Supportive Man” does indeed seem like an elusive creature.

  49. Protecting family members is noble

It depends on what you’re protecting them from. Hunger and homelessness, sure, but there’s nothing noble about protecting someone from the earned consequences of their actions.

Castration is an instinctive response, but wouldn’t do any good. Women would be raped with objects or killed for their actions. A march consisting of women who have castrated men would have people turning up with guns to take revenge.

What the boys did was evil and without excuse, however, they LEARNED that this behavior was acceptable from somewhere, probably from their families to begin with and reinforced by society. I have no doubt that they were taught from birth that anything they did was fine, that ‘bad’ women didn’t matter and existed for their pleasure.

You’re right about that. That wasn’t what I proposed though.

No one was looking for Eric Rudolph at anti-abortion rallies. And yet, they, the ralliers, managed somehow to share his cause and benefit from his terrorism without being implicated.

  52. The guys learnt how to treat the girls not only from their own family’s values (rape is not a crime but recording the rape is stupid) and also environment. To be fair, maybe only the grandfather is the only sexist in the family but if there’s no better / stronger example.. Look around, there are so many such cases unsolved due to ‘lack of concrete evidence’.

It’s not only the society that must change. The government should be more strict and proactive in catching such criminals. More media exposure, education and application. Everyone, within self, must respect others.

I hope the girl realize it’s not her fault for being raped and she’ll have the confidence and courage to live normal life.

  53. apropos of the distorted “justice” system…
this thread along with watching Dr. Phil’s show on the girl who was drugged and disappeared in Aruba triggered so much anger….
and when I’m extremly emotional, my therapy is writing. what I do is write hebrew lyrics on songs of Latin music…
    here’s what I wrote, translated
(based on the melody of “the Dark of the Matinee” in a chachacha version – coco freeman feat. Franz Ferdinand)

    “A Man Won’t Understand It”

    Evening falls
    And you find the time
to go out, and debate where to go.
    You walk
To a dress in the closet
    That won’t reveal too much
You calculate how much they’ll be able to see
    And in the club
    He spiked your drink

    (chorus):
Always beware of a penetrating stare
    Of stalking footsteps
Of the night that engulfs you
Always beware of an empty street
    And it’s no coincidence
That a man doesn’t get it
    A man won’t understand
    What it’s like to be a woman…

    “Good Morning, lady”
    “Tell me, Where am I?”
What are you doing there in the corner?
    You wake up
    Chills and nausea hit you
    When you understand
    That the pain down there
    Didn’t come out of nowhere
    Who should you call?
    Who should you turn to?
It’ll be years until you smile again
After all that he has done

    (Chorus):
Always beware of a penetrating stare…

You hear the news on the radio
(another sad story on the radio)
He was released two years early
    A judge pittied him
    He’s a man too
(what if that happened to his daughter?)
And if it did happen, it doesn’t show
So all that’s left for you to hope
    (What’s there to hope?)
is that he was raped in jail.

    (repeat chorus)

    Just wanted to share.

  54. This is similar to an event that took place in Orange County a few years back. Three guys intoxicated this girl, and then took advantage of her. They put foreign objects into her and stuff. Pretty grimey situation. It was all over the news here.

  55. Peace,

My prayers go out for this poor woman. I can’t really comment, this is kind of absurd that this even happens. I am not perfect but I think what bothers me more than anything else is that, as horrible and terrible the actual act was, they filmed and distributed and were proud of it? Shame is nearly dead in many countries. How sad.

    wa salamun ‘ala rasulillah
    peace

Gregory Haidl. His father is a sheriff. They argued that she wanted it because of their claim that she once said she wanted to be a porn star.

If you want to read about a travesty of American justice, read about the facts behind that case.

  57. With regard to ‘preventative measures’ mentioned earlier– the Public Library system I work for is chock-full of books which explain how to raise sane, responsible, non-violent kids, and I see a lot of women checking them out. However, the entrenched white male pervs in the mainstream (media, teachers, doctors, etc., etc.)– not to mention the army of ‘Little Dictator’ dads out there– do their darndest to undercut any trend towards actually implementing what’s in print. The reason for this is that they actively *want* to see the violence continue. It’s good for business, good for their sadistic fantasies, and good for keeping the female rank-and-file convinced of both immanent danger and their ‘inherent weakness/powerlessness’ against any attacker. These braindead parasites also see it as their *right* to dominate others by any means necessary. Anything that gets in the way of their ‘violence prerogative’ is systematically thwarted.

Personally, I think that one of the major props for this twisted state of affairs is (male-identified) monotheism. It literally deifies the male oppressor, and provides a handy god-as-dominator role-model and rationale for all sorts of brutality. The sooner male-sponsored religious systems bite the dust, the better.

As a Witch/Shaman, I am a Co-Creator, and I stand in equality and solidarity with Spirit. There are no limits placed upon the type of Work that I may undertake, and I further understand that it is *my* task– not Spirit’s– to deal with situations created by *human* action in the *human* realm. I completely endorse the notion that the Witch who cannot hex cannot heal, because a part of healing involves binding/removing/destroying the agent of illness, so that recovery and balance may be fostered.

I am therefore invoking Oya, Kali, Kurukulla, Ekajata, Maman Brigitte, and Phurba Dakini: I fix a Binding and Curse on ANYONE who directly or indirectly participated in this act of rape, enabled the attackers, enjoyed the video they made of their despicable act, or who actively seeks to aid them avoid justice! I further Curse each boy’s penis and testicles by Ligature, so that they will be unable to produce viable sperm, have an erection, or feel any sexual pleasure, for as long as they willfully remain in an unenlightened, violence-loving state! May everything that they did to this girl be done to them in turn, as a part of the process of their enlightenment! May the legal fees from the upcoming litigation reduce their families to penury! May anyone they shared their video with and who enjoyed watching it go permanently blind! May all the boys receive substantial jail time! May their gods, their faith and their friends desert them! May the grandfather who essentially defended the boys’ actions die soon, and thus remove another useless rape advocate from this world! May the lawyers hired to defend the rapists be unable to put together anything resembling an adequate defense, and let them all work at cross purposes to one another! May nothing done to help the perpetrators of this act escape their fate succeed– OYA strike them down, KALI trample them, KURUKULLA pierce them and PHURBA DAKINI tether them, EKAJATA grind them to dust, and MAMAN BRIGITTE escort their earthly residue to the cemetary!!!

In the meantine, may GREEN TARA and WHITE TARA aid the young woman who was the victim of this crime in every way possible! May WHITE TARA pour heavenly nectar on her wounds and give her strength! May GREEN TARA lift up her heart and make it whole! May OYA empower her lawyers and grant them victory in this case! May OSHUN heal her sexuality, and help her renew feelings of love and tenderness! May YEMAYA wash every particle and physical remnant of her attackers from her body-mind-soul! May 64 DAKINIS defend her and support her as she goes forward, may TURTLE MOTHER hold her up, may starry NUT embrace her, may SARASWATI pour a River of Light through her and open a million lotuses in her heart!!!

I will also state for the record that I am in favor of a monthly, on-going Waning Moon action against porn/rapists. I’m thinking maybe I ought to start a Hex List on my blog where folks can nominate those that need curtailing.

The White Light trip is nice, but it isn’t enough. To have a beautiful Garden, one must not only water the trees and flowers, one must also PULL the WEEDS…

I completely agree. I fostered a teenaged girl about seven-eight years ago, and had extensive conversations with her father (who raised her, had done all he could to win her in court away from her unemployed, epileptic single mother) and a social worker and I am convinced that he raised her in a way in order to make her assessable to other men. It is as if he gets some pleasure in knowing that men will exploit her. He is able to keep his conscious clear because he is not molesting her, however, he is in fact molesting her by proxy.

And I am sad to say that I was of no help. Last I heard she was seeing a therapist (man) who was trying to help her find her femininity.

    Posted by chasingmoksha | April 9, 2007, 6:40 pm
  60. ChasingMoksha, you never know what might have ‘sunk in’ when you fostered that girl. It always starts small, like a seed. Here’s hoping that whatever you managed to plant sprouts sooner rather than later. What I am trying to say here is that I don’t think you were of ‘no help’. My view is that nothing done to improve things is ever wasted. It may not have the full effect hoped for, but even if success is limited, it still does some good.

I also shrieked like a Bean Sidhe (banshee) when I got to the part about her seeing a male therapist in an effort to ‘find her feminity’. That’s like trying to learn about Compassion by studying with Hitler; it can’t be done because it ain’t there from the get-go.

Mary, glad to hear you are invoking energy for this. I plan to do the Ligatures on each of the five boys (interesting that it is a pentad– a ‘five-ness’– of them: this is numerologically set up perfectly for a Shamanic Working. After all, Witches *own* Pentacles, and we can do whatever we want especially well with things which obligingly organize themselves in fives…) at the Last Quarter Moon coming up. I think your invoking of the Increasing Sun in this matter is excellent, as the Waxing Light can be used to expose every last bit of twistedness, along with their names being made public. I am not for any anonymity for these little scumsuckers because they are technically minors. They chose to do what they did of their own free will, and it was full-on ‘adult’ sadism/rape, so I think it is appropriate that they be treated as adults when it comes to the consequences of their actions.

In short they ARE completely deserving of a well-Crafted, multi-stage hexing, and castration-by-Ligature IS an option…

  61. OMG. All I can say is OMG. I am in total shock that this disgraceful “grandfather” – I don’t know what you want to call this demoralized beast – would claim this was just boys acting stupid and lewd! DEAR GOD! This was a violent attack on an innocent girl, planned, carried out, and completed with a filmed sequence.
I got shivers up my spine and almost hurled when I read how she was “dumped” on her front lawn. I felt the blood just drain from upper body with that, for I was once that girl dumped on her lawn after a brutal attack, at only 15 years old. God help me if what was done to me after I was drugged and tormented was caught on film. I shudder to think.
My heart sincerely goes out to this young woman and her family. She has a long road to recovery. It won’t be easy, but she’s proved she’s a survivor. All those little cretins have proved is how completely disgusting, reviling, and totally pathetic they are. I hope their lineage dies with them one day.
**Someone please tell me? Is there a manual out there somewhere, for sick males, that instructs on how to torture and abuse a young woman senselessly, and does it end with, “Be sure to dump her out of your vehicle on her parents’ front lawn in the early A.M. hours when you’re all done”?!? After reading this, I sure would have thought so. **
I hope these boys go away for a looong time. It will CERTAINLY help that the jury and or/judge will be seeing what actually happened, and will have to sit there, with their stomachs up their throats, watching the horror, knowing it is NOT a fictional tale, but REAL life, and that it will confirm CERTAIN incarceration – for the rest of their known lives – for these little rat-animal teenage “boys”. And maybe, just maybe, it will begin to “click” in society – with prosecutors and police, judges, and hospital ER workers, exactly HOW HARROWING a rape is. If it makes their insides split in two, then maybe they’ll “get it” and won’t push it away, and try to pretend it wasn’t “So bad” or that somehow, she wanted it. We have such a denial problem in our cultures today – as if making her “want it” will make it less awful and sickening to hear, and let everyone else just go about their “happy little lives” without HAVING to have those god-awful stomach-wrenching emotions. I hope those involved with her case take the images with them into EVERY rape prosecution and complaint. I hope they NEVER forget that those images are THE REALITY of a rape scene. Plain and simple: it is gruesome, is NOT sexual at all, and is enough to make you lose your lunch. Ok, I am done with my rant. Thank you!
