Very, Very Bad Storm

We had a pretty impressive windstorm in the Pacific Northwest last night, of emergency proportions — people dead, major bridges closed — and I am without power, water, lights, cell phone, you name it, I don’t have it!  I straggled in to the office just briefly amidst the downed trees and power lines and just wanted everyone to know what’s up.  We are supposed to have electricity tonight sometime.  A million people are without electricity in the Seattle-Tacoma area!

I’ll be back when everything gets hooked up and turned on again.

  4. Wishing the best for all affected by this storm.😦 Hope you regain utilities soon. No water has got to be the worst.

  5. wow, didn’t realize that’s where you were (the internet does that to people, I suppose). I’m in SoCal, but most of my family is up there. We’ve been talking on cell-phones and they’ve been eating with coleman stoves. I hope you get your power back soon and that none of your friends or family were adversely affected (besides, you know, not having any electricity…).

  7. Maybe it’s God’s way of punishing Seattle on Hannukah for not putting up a menorah in the SEATAC airport. Just joking!
