Is on its way…
Edited to add: almost done. Thanks for being patient. 🙂
Should we write a story, an essay, something informative? I have never submitted anything to anyone before on the net, I have no clue what is expected.
Hey, chasingmoksha, in part the point of these Carnivals is to acquaint people with bloggers they may not have read before, so you’re supposed to submit stuff you’ve already blogged (of course, you can blog something new and submit it!) or stuff others have blogged that you think deserves a wider reading, and then you just submit the links to, in this case, the Carnival of Radical Feminists (which will have a different name).
Our first Carnival will be up very soon. It’s been something putting it together, really moving for me. Sorry for the delay, but as is true with everything we do, I am inventing as I go. 🙂
I’m glad she asked that because I didn’t know how the Carnivals worked either.
So if I submit a link from someone’s blog, would that person have declared that she is a radical feminist, or, is it as long as what is being written about is fits in the concept of radical feminists, i.e. the list, or what I like to call oath, LOL, you listed in the first entry about this event. I can be a pest I know, but for some reason I must know the particulars. If I did not, I would feel as if I was being superficial and just throwing something in the pot for throwing something in the pot’s sake.
chasingmoksha, you are never a pest!
The posts submitted do not have to come from those who are self-identified radical feminists, they just have to be consistent with specific radical feminist perspectives along the lines of my first entry and — and I know this is nebulous and subjective, but — they have to be written by someone who at least is open to radical feminism. I know I didn’t include that in my first entry, that’s something that came in the creating of the first Carnival. For example, all human beings, feminist or not, say they oppose rape and domestic violence. A post written by just anyone opposed to rape and d.v. wouldn’t be right for the carnival. It would have to be written by someone who has evidenced at least openness to radical feminism or radical feminist sensibilities, even if they do not identify currently as a radical feminist.
Clear as mud I know! But as we go along, we’ll get more clarity. 🙂
After I left that last comment I went and re-read something about a defect that I have and it says
a highly personalised approach to learning
a need to have the learning process and conventions made explicit
a need to understand how and why
I often have to remind myself of myself in order not to be mad at myself. LOL!
I can’t wait for this! I’m not sure I have something to submit, but I sure will be reading.
CM, if that’s a “defect” it sounds like one I have too. I had a few profs in college complain about me for “asking too many questions.”

Saddening. Whatever happened to the, “there are no stupid questions” philosophy?
Hey, this our blog here http://geteve-in.blogspot.com/, which three of us jointly started. Can this we submitted? How do we go about it?
Hey, Priya, you are in, and great to meet you. 🙂 I will add you to the blogroll. Love the name of your blog! Bloggers are so interesting, the names we think up for our blogs. 🙂
the suspense is killing me!
