Feminist Hullaballoo Note

Never fear, more writing about the Feminist Hullaballoo is on its way!

  1. Did you really just want to show us your little read heart? I love it.

  2. HA! Re my little red heart. It’s cute, huh! WordPress just added a bunch of bells and whistles, including special characters and different-colored fonts, to its “Write Posts” function. 🙂

I will probably eventually legally change my name to some version of “Heart.” I’m a strong muscle, pumping and circulating blood. 🙂

  3. Heart,

    Are you ever!

    The Heart of the Goddess.

Where my mother lives now, where we all belong.

  4. Heart, consider the Latin: Cardia/Cardio.

I see you totally as a Cardia. 🙂

  5. Reminder to all the wild women, today is July 10th. If at all possible go to Amazon dot com and buy “The Seven Sisters of the Peilades”
    by M Andrews.

It is our attempt to move one women’s book up on the top selling list. The recommended time is 12:00 noon Central time. Please do your part and order this book. Thank you.

  6. Hey, thanks, Stillwater! I’m going to blog about it. I know I’ve been dilatory, but… 🙂

    Thanks again!

  7. Thank you Stillwater for the reminder. I was just thinking about this the other day, wondering when the day and time is.

The reason for everyone to buy a copy of that book, from Amazon (yes, there are issues with Amazon) is to make the book a best seller. The publisher, Spinifex Press is a feminist publishing company.

Save your receipt when you buy the book and the publisher will send you, in exchange for buying the above mentioned book, a free book of your choosing from any of the 150 books that they carry. They said that they will send that book free, including the cost of shipping.

So, if we all buy a copy of “The Seven Sisters of the Pleiades”
by Munya Andrews around noon, today, the sales chart will skyrocket and it will move to the top of the charts. And you will get a free book in the process from Spinifex Press.

  8. Hey Uppity, Thank you for coming in with much more clarity and better spelling too… I was in such a rush, work was calling. I am happy that you explained just what the book purchase motive was. I ordered our copy. I hope others were able to order.

  9. Ugh, and then there’s me. I thought it was today, the 11th! Even though I read your comment, Uppity! :/ I have really been slammed at work, shot at home, and not on top of things.

Well, I’m going to blog about it anyway– I remember the woman from Spinifex said it would be best if we did it at a certain time, but would still help if we did it in the general vicinity of that day.

  10. More Hullaballoo!

Paint a picture with your words.
