A Clue

I am Heart.  My blog is Women’s Space.

Biting Beaver is my sister, my radical feminist colleague, my friend, and I would go to the mat for her, but she and I are not the same person.   Her blog is Den of the Biting Beaver.

This clue provided free of charge for the clueless.

  3. Idiots.

Just like claiming a post was deleted when in fact it was not.

The new reality, minute by minute filling in the gaps with confabulation. “I remember it my way so it is the real truth.”

  4. Yeah, BB, we love you and miss you, woman.

  5. No idea what this is about. ears/lalalalalala\ears

But I too miss BB. And worry about her but also think she is resiliant, an amazing woman with real woman power, not that em-power kinda power.

  6. No idea either, but is BB ok? (I assume this is just referring to her putting her blog on lockdown) Either way, I miss her too. 😦

  7. I miss BB… I emailed her about access to the blog but received no reply. I assume she is busy. I hope she is all right. 😦

  8. I know you’re two different bloggers so I have a clue!

  9. Hey, women. 🙂

I think BB is taking care of herself. I interviewed her for the current issue of off our backs– I think you’d all appreciate what she had to say if you haven’t already read it.

  10. I’ll be sure to read it. I’m still new enough around here that I’m not certain who she is. 🙂

  11. Speaking of OOB, I never did receive my copy… Should I have by now?

    Posted by justicewalks | September 9, 2007, 6:58 pm
  12. Hey, justicewalks, the issue went out the first week of August I think so I think you should have received it by now. I’d give the office a call.

  13. I miss BB too. I wish she was back on the internet although that’s kind of a selfish wish.

  14. Speaking of which, I would like to read her blog but don’t seem to have any way to contact her – I think we exchanged emails about a year ago but that email is lost deep in my sea of the thousands of emails I never, ever delete – I am a virtual packrat as well as an analog one!

I actually started a blogger account… if you send me an email I can pass that url on to you so she knows its me… if she cares to have me read her blog. Oh and virtual **hugs** to her – I’ve been the target of relatively minor internet bullying and threats compared to what she’s gone through, and even that sucked and upset me greatly.

I love how those folks seem to think they have some kind of high ground on which to judge feminists. One of my recent trolls sent me a delightful message the other day wishing that me and my children would be raped in retaliation for daring to publicly say I have great difficulty trusting men – funny how such statements don’t change my mind.

  15. Amananta, none of BB’s old e-mails are “working” now. I don’t really want to say much more than that I will do what I can.

  16. I think she’ll let us know if and when she’s ready.

  17. I miss BB too. I did read your interview with her, and it was very good.

  18. I’m ashamed that I don’t already know where it is, thus proving that I haven’t already read it, but where is the article? <—hangs head in shame and embarassment

    Posted by CoolAunt | September 11, 2007, 10:21 pm
  19. Yeah, Cool Aunt, you’re in deep doo doo. 🙂

Actually, the article is (so far) only available in paper by subscribing to Off Our Backs or ordering the current issue.

    Posted by womensspace | September 11, 2007, 10:36 pm
  20. Well, that explains it. I’ve been too broke to purchase any subscriptions to anything. Heck, I’m too poor to pay attention. :b

  21. I think I recall BB posting at the IBTP forum for a little while. Of course, I’m sure that mess of a thing drove her away.

  22. Hey I got my 1st copy of OOB a week ago. Great interview. Great magazine! Hugs to Heart and BB. Hope you are both really well.
